Im sorry for the loss of Mark. I will never forget the great summers out at Scandi when we were kids, I remember Mark reeling in huge fish off the dock and he put on fireworks shows for everyone. He truly was one of a kind!

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Roscoe for Mark H. Koetter, age 52, of St. Cloud, formerly of Brooten. Mark passed away peacefully on February 2, 2012 in Foley, MN with family at his side. Burial will take place in the St. Agnes Parish Cemetery in Roscoe.
Visitation will be from 4 – 8 p.m. Monday, February 6, and one hour prior to services on Tuesday at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Roscoe.
Mark was born April 9, 1959 in St. Cloud to Roman and Dolores (Fischer) Koetter. He graduated from St. Cloud Technical High School in 1977. He owned and operated Tri-County Plumbing and Heating in Brooten for many years.
Mark is survived by his son Josh Koetter of Elk River, daughter Sarah (Kris) Petermeier of St. Cloud, grandchildren Michael and Abbigale Petermeier and Jaxxon Koetter, mother Dee Moffatt of Clearwater, brothers Michael (Cathy) of Spicer and Dave (Norma) of Avon and sister Karen Koetter of Clearwater.
Preceding him in death was his father Roman, maternal grandparents Herman and Margaret Fischer and paternal grandparents Herman and Caroline Koetter.
Memorials are preferred.

In January, Dee (Mark’s mom), Mike and I had such a good, fun visit with Mark. We laughed, we talked and Mark told us who he wanted for pall bearers at his funeral. Tough stuff to talk about, but he was accepting his fate and did it with great taste. That visit, is the way all 3 of us want to remember Mark. He told us some stories and we laughed so much! Mike and I are very grateful that Dee, Mike and I were able to spend the last 3 days with him. His struggle has ended and we will miss him very much.
