William B. Waltzing

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday April 18th, at 11:00 AM at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in St. Cloud for William B. “Bill” Waltzing, age 85 of St. Cloud, who died on Sunday at the St. Cloud Hospital. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday (TODAY) between 5:00-8:00 PM at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud and on Wednesday one hour prior to services at the Church. Eagles Aerie # 622 will pray at 6:00 PM followed by the Parish Prayers at 6:30 PM.

Bill was born December 30, 1921 in Millwood Township, Stearns County to John and Bernadine (Stoermann) Waltzing. He married Rose Imholte November 26th, 1945 at St. Mary’s Cathedral in St. Cloud. Bill lived in St. Cloud most of his married life and was employed as a long distance truck driver. He was past president and over 50-year member of the St. Cloud Eagles Aerie # 622 a member of St. Anthony’s Parish and Catholic Aid Association.

Survivors include his wife Rosie of St. Cloud, children; Mary Busch of St. Cloud, Shirley Sova and husband James of Effie, Tony Waltzing of Puyallup, Washington, Natalie Cowley of Van Buren, Arkansas, grandchildren; Paula, Paul (Andrea), Ericka, Angelique and Robert Waltzing, Mark, Michael, and Michelle Busch, Clinton Sova, and Amanda Cowley, great-grandchildren; Destiny, Christine, and Paul, daughter in law Carmen Waltzing, Costa Rica, ex daughter in law Hannelore Waltzing, Puyallup, Washington, brother and sister; Bernard Waltzing, St. Paul, and Theresa Heinen, St. Cloud.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sons; Mark, October 30th, 1965, Paul, January 22nd, 2001, son in laws; John Busch and Ronald Cowley, and grandsons; Craig Sova and Sean Cowley, brother, Andrew Waltzing.

The family would especially like to thank Lorrie Waite and her staff at the Sauk Rapids Generations Community Home for the excellent care Bill received in his time of need.
