Marie Hoefer

A Celebration of Life for Marie Hoefer, age 52 will be on Friday, May 2, 2025,  from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at St. Francis Xavier Gathering Space located at 219 – 2^nd Street North, Sartell, MN.  She died on April 9, 2025, at the St. Cloud Hospital.

Marie was born on February 22, 1973, at St. Cloud Hospital and raised in Sartell, the same town she returned to when it came time to raise her own children. She had a special talent for collecting strays and trinkets alike. Whether you had fur or feelings, Marie offered a safe, judgment-free space where you could simply be.

Marie was endlessly creative, especially when it came to decorating her room or celebrating holidays. She had a flair for bright colors, bold prints, and anything that sparkled—her spaces were as lively and full of character as she was. She loved to shop, always chasing a bit of beauty or whimsy to bring home. Whether it was stringing up lights, picking the perfect cozy blanket, or setting the vibe with music, Marie had a way of making everything feel warm and alive. She also had a knack for the little joys—a fizzy Mountain Dew, a sweet treat, or just a space that felt just right.

And of course, she was a die-hard Vikings fan, forever holding out hope for that big win. She poured love into her people, her pets, and her surroundings. She made the world softer, warmer, and a little more fun.

Marie lives on, in the hearts of her two children, Jaylia and Trey, her two beloved dogs, Remy and Roxy, and a couple of stray cats whose names have, fittingly, slipped into mystery. But most of all, she lives on in the stories we carry.

Her life was a beautiful mix of heart and humor, and she lives on in all of us—through love, through laughter, and in every memory we share and create.
