Kenneth W. "K.B." Block

June 26, 1942 – April 18, 2022

Funeral Services will be 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at the Daniel-Anderson Funeral Home in Paynesville for Kenneth W. “Kenny” “K.B.” Block, age 79, of Paynesville.  Reverend Denny Curran will preside. Burial will take place in the Paynesville Cemetery.  Visitation will begin at 12 noon on Thursday at the funeral home in Paynesville.

Kenny was born June 26, 1942 in Paynesville, MN to Emil and Olga (Runge) Block.  He married Kathleen Eastling on June 30, 1967 in Watertown, South Dakota.  He worked at Peifer Egg Plant, Franklin Manufacturing, Loren Meyer Motors and Laubach Chevy and Buick Motors until retirement. Kenny enjoyed working on cars and lawn mowers.  He also enjoyed car racing, playing cards, games, fishing and bird watching.  He listened to bands like Whiteside Walls, Beach Combers, Rock’n Hollywoods, and the Fantastic Convertibles.  He loved to spend time with his children, grandchildren and friends.

Kenny is survived by his wife Kathy, son Kevin, daughter Karen, grandson Justin, brother Emil, Jr. as well as nieces and nephews.

Kenny is preceded in death by his parents, daughter Kari, grandson Jordan, and siblings Herbert, Edward (Veronica), Viola (Stanley) Stenerson, Sophia (Roger) Rien, infant sister and nephew Richard Rien.
