Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at the Grace Lutheran Church in Becker, for Keith N. Hickman, age 66, of Clearwater. Keith passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 surrounded by his family. Reverend David Johnson will officiate.
Family and friends may call after 10:00 a.m. on Saturday at the church in Becker.
Keith was born on July 31, 1947 in Monticello, Minnesota to Kenneth and Marie (Nelson) Hickman. He married Shirley Heincke on August 15, 1966 in Silver Creek. Keith worked construction all of his life, mostly operating heavy equipment.
He enjoyed Draft Horses, four wheeling, farming, and driving grain truck. Keith loved the time spent with his family, especially the grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley; children, Bill (Peggy) of Becker, Tom (Josie) of Buffalo, Jesse (Jessica) of Big Lake, Tanya (Paul) Jude of Maple Lake, Travis (fiancée Rashelle) Maple Lake; nineteen grandchildren; mother, Marie of Monticello; sisters and brother, Sandy (Jeff) Wallin of Monticello, Randy (Kris) of Monticello, and Marcia (Tom) Boone of Big Lake; and many nieces and nephews.
Keith was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth; brothers, Richard and Norman; niece, Jennifer.
A Special Thank You to the Staff at the St. Cloud Hospital Hospice for the exceptional care given to Keith during his illness.

I am so glad that you were my nephew, our ringbearer, and I got to talk to you a few days before the Lord took you home.
I always enjoyed bumping into Keith (and Justin). They were always willing to chat and share a laugh with us. He will be greatly missed.
