Harold P. Lutgen

Funeral services will be at 12:30 PM on Wednesday, March 21, 2012, at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in St. Cloud, MN for Harold Paul Lutgen, age 67 of St. Cloud, who died on Friday, March 16, 2012 at the St. Cloud VA Medical Center. Interment will be at the Minnesota State Veteran’s Cemetery at Little Falls, MN.

Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 and on Wednesday, from 11:00 A.M. to 12 Noon all at Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud. St. Paul’s Parish Prayers at 5:00 PM, V.F.W. Post 428 Prayers will be at 6:30 P.M. and Knights of Columbus Council 961 Prayers will be at 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Harold was born on January 12, 1945 in St. Cloud, MN the son of Henry and Valeria (Weyer) Lutgen. He graduated from Cathedral High School in 1963. He lived all of his life in St. Cloud, and served his country in the US Army from January 31, 1964 until his honorable discharge on January 24, 1967. Upon his return to St. Cloud, he was employed by the city of St. Cloud, working as a Meter Reader. He was a resident of the St. Cloud VA Medical Center for many years, where he made many friends.

He was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Knights Of Columbus Council 961 and V.F.W. Post 428 all of St. Cloud.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by; his brothers and sisters, Mary Greeno of Delano, MN, Rita (LeRoy Olson) Habiger of Glenwood, MN, Dennis (Jean Kidd) Lutgen of Minneapolis, MN, Michael (Judy) Lutgen of Rockville, MN, Larry (Pat Lindsley) Lutgen of Seattle, WA, James (Marion Mann) Lutgen of Bovy, MN, JoAnn Lutgen, of St. Cloud, Roger (Donna) Lutgen of Albany, MN, Teresa (Brian) Klinkner of St. Cloud, Mark Lutgen of Seattle, WA, John (Lisa) Lutgen of Waite Park, MN, Susan (Sam) White of St. Cloud, MN, and Janet (Tracy) Siemers of Sartell, MN, nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
