I was fortunate enough to work with and Learn from Gary. I was a novice he the Pro. This was the late 80’s. Gary always had time to teach me and I still use the things he taught today. THANKS GARY
Truly one of a kind! He always knew how to make people smile. I’m going to miss him, and our back & forth on who’s better, the Twins or the White Sox. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family. There is no one like Gary, You will be very very missed!
I am truly going to miss Gary, he was one of the greatest people I ever knew. I was lucky in life to have him as my friend. I extend my thoughts & prayers to Kathy and the family. Sharon & I Love all of you….
My deepest sympathy to the family of Gary. We worked together for a few years, and had a lot of fun together at management training. He had a great sense of humor, and was great to work with. – Joe Pavlik
After a long twelve hour shift Gary would come in at 4:45 with his usual jovial “How’d it go last nite?” Many occasions we would respond with “just glad to see your face Gary!”. As the days pass without that face we realize just how heartfelt those words truly were. Consolation is in our thoughts for where he is now; the bucks are always in rut, the fish are always biting, and there’s always a cool breeze blowing off Palmer lake. Your family is in our prayers.
So sorry to here about Gary, we had good times together when our families got to-together. Phoenix, Arizona

We are so sorry to hear about your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time.
never knew Gary super close but when Merrill/May printing was looking to hire a lawn service in June 1997 Gary mentioned that i should put a quote in…. Well, that got my foot in the door and i have taken care of the lawn/grounds ever since. ! Now it’s kinda fitting that he’s gone and i will not be mowing at Merrill this May 2014 for the first time since 1997. I did notice Gary more often than normal this fall and even got to say hi a couple of times. RIP you died way too young !!
I looked up to Gary like he was an older brother when growing up. He was a role model to me. R.I.P. Deepest simpathy to Family
Kathy- I’m so sorry to hear of Gary’s passing. He was such a great employee, I was very fortunate to have so many wonderful people working for me- it made May Printing the success that it became. I owe it all to Gary and his friends at the company.
