Chester Oman

Services will be on Thursday, May 3, 2007, at 2:00 PM at the Daniel Funeral Home Chapel in Clearwater for Chester Oman, 80, of Clearwater, who died Sunday, April 29. Pastor Ken Mayberry will officiate. Burial will be at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
Friends may call after 1:00 PM on Thursday at the Daniel Funeral Home in Clearwater.
Chester was born to Chester and Hester (Block) Oman on April 29, 1927 in Cambridge. He married Doris Dale on August 8 1953. Chester was employed by Minnegasco in Minneapolis for 30 years. He has been a resident of Clearwater since 1989. Chester was an active member of the Buffalo Seventh-day Adventist Church, and had served as head deacon, and had held other offices.
Chester is survived by his wife Doris, his aunt Dolores Loyd, three nieces, and one nephew.
He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Debra Oman, infant daughter Cheryl Linda Oman, and brother Gayle.
Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
