Bernice M. Gully
July 11, 1920 – October 22, 2010

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at St. Louis Catholic Church in Paynesville for Bernice M. Gully, age 90 of Paynesville, who died Friday, October 22 at the St. Cloud Hospital. Reverend John Fleischhacker O.S.C. will officiate. Burial will take place in St. Louis Parish Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Monday and after 10 a.m. on Tuesday at St. Louis Catholic Church in Paynesville. Arrangements are with Daniel-Anderson Funeral Home, Paynesville.
Bernice was born on July 11, 1920 in St. Martin, Minnesota to Leo and Emily (Burg) Schmitz. She married Arnold A. Gully on January 27, 1948 in St. Nicholas, Minnesota. They farmed in the Paynesville area all of their lives. After retiring from farming, they moved into Paynesville in 1983. Bernice was a member of St. Louis Parish and Christian Women.
Bernice enjoyed spending time with her family, bread baking, rosary making and playing cards.
Bernice is survived by her children, Gerry (Rose) of Boyd, WI, Roger (Nancy) of St. Cloud, Jean (Ron) Snyder of Richfield, Gordy (Bonnie) of Paynesville, Tom of Clearwater, Ruth (Mike) Miller of St. Cloud; 12 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; brother, Erwin of St. Cloud; and sisters, Viola Keul of Cold Spring and Eileen (Dom) Warzecha.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arnold in 2004; brothers, Gilbert, Harold, Werner; and sister, Lucile Vossen.
A special thank you is given to the residents and staff of Assumption Campus.
