Vipond, age 90 of Sartell.  Ardyce passed away peacefully, with family by her side, on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at Quiet Oaks Hospice House in St. Augusta. Reverend Ronald Weyrens will officiate. Ardyce was born on August 9, 1934 in Herman, Minnesota to the late Arthur and Esther (Meyer) Drexler. She married William Vipond on May 23, 1953 at St. Charles Catholic Church in Herman.  They started their married life in Herman and due to Bill’s job moved several times.  They settled in Detroit Lakes in the early 1960’s.  Ardyce was a loving and devoted wife, mother and homemaker for many years. She also was employed as a dental assistant, optometry assistant and library assistant.  In the early 2000’s they moved to St. Cloud where Ardyce volunteered with Quiet Oaks Hospice House and was a member of Bible Study Fellowship (BSF).

Ardyce treasured spending time with loved ones. She also enjoyed crafting, sewing, reading, puzzles and shopping with her girls.  She will be remembered for her strong faith and looked forward to seeing her Savior face to face.  Ardyce also possessed a natural grace and a great sense of humor that left a lasting impression with all of her caregivers, friends and family.  She was elegant to the end!

She is survived by her daughters, Gwen (Gordy) Spengler of St. Cloud, Cindy (Loren) Prange of Grey Eagle; daughter-in-law, Jane Vipond of Buckeye, AZ; and several nieces. She is also survived by the grandchildren of her heart, Aaron, Allie, Jack, Samatha, Wolfgang, Ryan, Brooks, Chelsey and Jordan.

Ardyce was preceded in death by her husband, Bill in 2016; son, Rolly in 2002; and sisters, Chleo Syverson and Janet Coleman.

A Special Thank You to all the wonderful staff at Quiet Oaks Hospice House and CentraCare Hospice for their compassionate care to Ardyce and family.

Memorials are preferred to Quiet Oaks Hospice House, 5537 Galaxy Road, St. Augusta 56301.
