Adeline Krueger

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:30 PM on Monday, December 18, 2006 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in St. Cloud for Adeline “Addie” Krueger, age 88, of St. Cloud, who passed away Thursday at St. Benedict’s Senior Community. The Reverend Greg Lieser will officiate. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4:00-8:00 PM on Sunday at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud, and after 11:30 AM on Monday at the Church. Parish prayers will be at 7:00 PM on Sunday at the funeral home in St. Cloud.

Addie was born on May 8, 1918 in Eden Valley to George and Agnes (Peters) Schutz. She married Marcellus Krueger on September 18, 1944 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in St. Cloud. She was a member of St. Peter’s Parish where she served as a Eucharistic Minister, sang in the Resurrection Choir, and was a member of the Christian Mothers. She also belonged to the Daughters of Isabella, Legion of Mary, Catholic Aid Association, K of C Council 5548 Auxiliary, Eagles Aerie #622 Auxiliary, and VFW Post #428 Auxiliary. Addie served as a foster grandparent at the St. Cloud Children’s Home for ten years.

Addie is survived by her children: Daniel (Mary Catherine), James (Barbara), Kevin (Kimberly), Sharon (Patrick) Zwilling; 8 grandchildren;
one great-grandchild; and one sister, Catherine Schneider.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Marcellus on Feb. 6, 1985; sisters and brothers: Clara Salzer, Caroline Schriml, George Schutz, Peter Schutz, and infant brothers Bernard and Albert.
