William P. "Bill" Moline
September 27, 1926 – November 21, 2013

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday November 26, 2013 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in St. Cloud for William P. "Bill" Moline, age 87, of St. Cloud who passed away peacefully at Quiet Oaks Hospice House. Entombment will take place in the Assumption Cemetery Mausoleum in St. Cloud with full military honors.
Relatives and friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Monday at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud. Parish Prayers will be 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Tuesday.
Bill was born September 27, 1926 in St. Cloud to Carl and Hattie (Kiklas) Moline. He graduated from St. Cloud Technical High School. Bill served his country in World War II in the Navy and the Army. He married Connie O’Donnell on October 3, 1953 at St. Mary’s Cathedral. He was writer and Editor for the St. Cloud Times. He also owned and published the St. Cloud Photo News. He worked for Burlington Northern Railroad and retired in 1981 as Assistant General Foreman. He was a leader with the Boy Scouts of America and Explorers Club, lifetime member of the Waite Park American Legion Post 428 and a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 622.
Bill’s greatest joy was his family. He especially enjoyed his grandchildren and great grandchildren along with the many other children that were a part of his life.
Bill is survived by his children Mary Beth Moline of St. Cloud, Patrice (Andrew) Meemken of St. Cloud, Cheryl (daughter-in-law) of Maple Grove, Paul of Fort Worth, TX and Jeff (Laurie) of Waite Park, 9 grandchildren: Joseph (Chelsie) Meemken, Anna (Dan) Bremmer, Rebecca Meemken, Isaac (Abbey) Meemken, Erik, Adam, and Samantha Moline and Zachary and Jennifer Moline; great grandchildren Kiera & Lana Meemken and Colton Bremmer; brothers Jim and Larry (Mary), sisters Lorraine (Gene) Skelton, and Shirley Dominik.
Preceding him in death was his wife Connie (October 31, 2010), his parents, son David (January 24, 2011), and brother Carl, Jr. “Dan”.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to CureSearch for Childrens Cancer Research, the largest cancer research organization for children, through the MJ Golf Classic, a fundraiser started by his son that has raised over 5 million dollars towards cancer research.
