Sandy was born on April 14, 1959, in Fairmont, Minnesota, to Robert and Ruth (Tooley) Dollen. She attended Fairmont High School. She married the love of her life and devoted husband of 41 years, Ken Broviak, on May 30 1975, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. After having lived in Fairmont and Minneapolis, they moved to St. Cloud in 1980, where they made their home. They welcomed a daughter Jessica and a son Dustin. Sandy was a wonderful mother who enjoyed the blessing of being a stay at home mother until her children were teen-agers. She enjoyed work outside of the home at Benton Bingo, Sauk Rapids Liquor Store, TJ Maxx, and Sears. Sandy had an infectious laugh and had no trouble making friends. She will be missed by so many, not the least of which are her husband, children, and grandchildren. Sandy’s family meant everything to her and she took great pride in her role as a wife, mother, and grandmother. Sandy’s strength and perseverance were just two of the many things her family loved about her right up to her last days.
Sandy is survived by: husband Ken; children, Jessica (Jason) Anhorn of St. Cloud, Dustin (Kimberly) of St. Cloud; grandchildren, Chase, Hannah, and Presley; brother George Dollen of Fairmont.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother James Dollen.
