Rose Marie was born on September 22, 1936 in St. Nicholas, Minnesota to the late Christ and Theresa (Schreifels) Theis. She married Gerald G. “Jerry” Raden on June 23, 1956 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in St. Cloud. Rose Marie was employed at Lantz Optical (where she met Jerry), Fingerhut, Security Stationary and Marco over the years. She was a proud 20+ year breast cancer survivor. She was a member, Eucharistic Minister and usher for many years at St. Anthony’s Parish and also a member of the Sweet Adeline’s Singing Group. Rose Marie faithfully donated to the Humane Society and Disabled American Veterans.

Rose Marie enjoyed making wood fiber flowers, assisting her son Bruce with his photography business located in her home, antiquing and shopping. She loved Christmas and looked forward to setting up her large Christmas house village display with over 80 pieces. Above all, she treasured spending time with family.

She is survived by her son, Bruce (Renee) of St. Cloud; grandchildren, Christopher (Tabby), Nina (Tim) Neumann, and Shane (Maren); nine great grandchildren all of the St. Cloud area; siblings, Sylvester (Betty) Theis and Delores Dockendorf both of Cold Spring; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry in 2014.

A Special Thank You to everyone at Chateau Waters Therapy Suites and St. Cloud Hospital for their care and support given to Rose Marie and family during this time.

My deepest condolences on your loss. May fond memories of Rose bring you comfort during this hard time in your life. Look back on all the good memories you were able to have and smile at the fact that you were able to share these before she passed away. My hearts and prayers go out to you and your family. God has promised us that we will soon be reunited with our loved ones. “There is going to be a resurrection,” the Bible confirms at Acts 24:15. “Do not be amazed at this,” Jesus assures us, “for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.” (John 5:28, 29)
