Raymond R. Johnson

Funeral Services celebrating the life of Raymond R. Johnson Jr., 71, of St. Cloud will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, May 15, 2017 at the Daniel Funeral Home Chapel in St. Cloud. Ray passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, May 9, 2017. Reverend Doug Liebsch will officiate. Burial will be in St. Francis Xavier Parish Cemetery, Sartell.
Visitation will begin at 12 Noon at the Daniel Funeral Home, St. Cloud.
Ray was born on November 19, 1945 in Washington D.C. to Raymond R. and Vivian (Barker) Johnson Sr. He married Susan M. Wildes on February 9, 1985 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sartell. He resided in St. Cloud all of his married life. Ray was employed as a Custodian for Technical High School until his retirement.
Ray loved watching trains in Sauk Rapids and in his younger days watching airplanes take off. He also enjoyed the outdoors, going for walks, spending time at the park and camping. Ray will be remembered for his kindness, willingness to help others and his pleasant personality.
He is survived by his wife, Susan; sister, Pat Johnson of Arizona; best friend, Karen Jordahl and her family; nephews, Ryan and Rick Mix; and his beloved dog, Skippy.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
