Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in St. Joseph for Michael A. Lodermeier, age 56, of St. Joseph. Mike passed away September 8, 2016 at the St. Cloud Hospital due to injuries received in a motorcycle accident. Reverend Jerome Tupa, OSB will officiate. Burial will take place in the St. Joseph’s Parish Cemetery in St. Joseph.

 

Relatives and friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Monday at the Heritage Hall in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Parish Prayers will be held at 6 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services at the church (Heritage Hall) on Tuesday. At Michael’s request, please wear jeans and everyday, casual clothing.

Mike was born August 5, 1960 in St. Cloud to Jerome and Rosemary (Legatt) Lodermeier. After graduating from Apollo High School he worked at DCI for 27 years. His passion was the family farm where he lived and took care of his cattle and nurtured his crops. He enjoyed motorcycle riding where he was a member of ABATE Motorcycle Club. He treasured spending time with his family and friends.

Mike is survived by his parents Jerome and Rosemary, brothers and sisters Tom (Cindy) of Rosemount, Carol (Erhardt) Schultz of Apple Valley, Roger (Doris) of Sartell, Duane (Diane) of St. Cloud, Joanne (Mike) Theisen of Hillman, Dave of St. Joseph, Theresa (Mike) Farone of Dundas, Jerry of Apple Valley and Jeff of Monterrey, Mexico, and many special nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and other relatives and friends.

Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
