Mary Jane "Jane" Kapphahn

June 6, 1928 – July 26, 2016

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in St. Cloud for Mary Jane “Jane” Kapphahn, age 88, of St. Cloud who passed away at her home with family by her side on Tuesday, July 26, 2016. Reverend Gregory Lieser will officiate. Burial will take place in Assumption Cemetery in St. Cloud.

Family and friends may call after 9:30 a.m. on Saturday at the Church in St. Cloud.

Jane was born on June 6, 1928 in St. Cloud to Emil and Elfriede (Weyrens) Fischer. She married Cliff Kapphahn on October 16, 1954 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in St. Cloud. She was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church and the Legion of Mary.

Jane was a loving, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, and Friend.

Jane is survived by her children, Jody (Denise) of St. Cloud, Beth of St. Cloud, Jill (Dale) Streit of St. Joseph, Jay of New Hope; grandsons, Nicholas (Brooke) Kapphahn, Michael Kapphahn, Dustin Kapphahn, Jason Streit, Adam Streit, Nathan Streit; great-grandchildren, Carter, Kale; brothers and sisters, Thomas Fischer of St. Cloud, Betty Seymour of St. Cloud, Doris Wicker of Waite Park, and Kay Goering of St. Cloud.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband in 1968; brother, Frank Fischer, and sister, Jeanette Westra.

Memorials are preferred.
