Marvin F. Kunstleben

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at 10:30 AM at St. Louis Catholic Church in Paynesville for Marvin F. Kunstleben, age 79, of Paynesville, who died December 3, 2014. The Reverend Glenn Krystosek will officiate.
Family and friends may call from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday and after 9:30 AM on Saturday at St. Louis Catholic Church. Arrangements are with Daniel-Anderson Funeral Home, Paynesville.
Marvin was born on March 8, 1935 to Leo and Erma (Winter) Kunstleben. He married Mary Willard on August 16, 1957 in Fort Sill, Oklahoma and was blessed to have celebrated 56 years of marriage He worked at Swift & Co in South St. Paul before entering the U.S. Army Missile Company, which he served in from 1956 until his Honorable Discharge in 1958. Marvin and Mary owned and operated the M&M Corral in Lake Henry for five years. They later moved to a country farm, near Lake Henry, where Marvin passionately enjoyed farming and raising their family. He enjoyed hunting, fishing with his friends and traveling. He especially enjoyed trips to Arizona where he loved four-wheeling in the mountains. Marvin loved to scare people saying, “It’s good for your heart.” He was a wonderful husband, dad, grandfather and great-grandfather, who always had a positive attitude.
He was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, the Lake Henry American Legion Post #612 and the Rosary Society of St. Margaret’s Catholic Church in Lake Henry.
Marvin is survived by his wife; daughters, Debbie (Brad) Glenz, Diane (Bob) Lieser, Julie (Jim) Jimenez from Paynesville; sister and brothers, Loretta Christman, Leo and Melvin Kunstleben, of Paynesville; 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents; grandsons, Ryan Glenz and Jimmy Jimenez Jr.; granddaughter, Brooke Lieser; brother, Othmar Doll; and sisters, Marie Schmitt and Rose Mary Isaak.
