In 1956, I was an overwhelmed first grader at St Anthony's in St Cloud. One day, a big kid said to me, "Is your name Marlys?" Wow--an eighth grader was talking to me--and she was nice. Her name was Marlys too, so we waved at each other in the halls and said Hi when we had the chance. I've thought about Marlys Skaj many times over the years and tried to do for others what she did for me. With love and sympathy, another Marlys

Dear Evans Family, My sincere and heartfelt sympathy for your great loss. As you all did, Marlys always made me feel like a part of your family and truly was like a second mom threw the years Jamie and I dated. She will be greatly missed and never forgotten. Sending my thoughts and prayers! With Love, Terri Phillipp
