Lorraine S. Meyer

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church for Lorraine S. Meyer, age 96, of St. Cloud, who passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at the Country Manor Campus in Sartell. Reverend LeRoy Scheierl will officiate. Entombment will be in Assumption Cemetery Mausoleum.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 13, 2017 at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday at the Church.
Lorraine was born on May 31, 1920 in Lastrup, MN, to the late Anton and Clara (Tschida) Veith. She and her husband, Sylvester farmed and she was later employed and retired from Fingerhut. She was an avid gardener and auction attendee with Sylvester. Her most treasured thing in life was her family, and she will be dearly missed by all who loved her.
Survivors include sons Lloyd (Jane) of St. Paul, Floyd (Jane) of St. Cloud and daughter Magdalen (Kris) of Blaine, six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; sister, Lucille Boser of Little Falls and sister-in-law, Caroline Veith of Brainerd.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Sylvester on April 21, 2005; brothers, Clarence, Raymond, Harold, Anton Jr. and infant brother, Richard; sister, Leona Meyer and infant sister, Luverne; daughter-in-law, Sandy and grandson, Blaine.
A special thank you to all the staff of Country Manor for their special attention and care to Lorraine over the years.
