Lorean M. "Kelly" Reber

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, April, 21, 2015 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in St. Joseph for Lorean M. “Kelly” Reber, age 79 of St. Joseph who passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Quiet Oaks Hospice House in St. Augusta. Reverend Jerome Tupa, OSB will officiate. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday and after 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Joseph. Parish prayers will be at 5:30 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home in St. Joseph.

Lorean was born February 27, 1936 in Brandon, Minnesota to Michael and Laura (Kapphahn) Kelly. She attended the College of St. Benedict. Lorean married Elmer P. Reber on October 8, 1956 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Brandon, Minnesota. She was employed by the First State Bank of St. Joseph and St. Joseph Gas and Bait. Lorean was a member of St. Joseph’s Parish.

Survivors include her husband, Elmer; children, Mary (Tony) Generous of St. Joseph, Shirley (Will) Oberton of Winona and Sharon (Tracy) Johnson of Plymouth; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; brother, Jerry (Sharon) Kelly of Buffalo; and sister, Patricia (Bill) Good of Belen, New Mexico.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers and sisters, Winifred Glatzel, Sr. Kathleen Kelly, OSF, Mark Kelly, Mary Spielman, Warren Kelly, Austin Kelly and Michael Kelly.
