Linda Stocker

Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at 7:30 p.m. at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud for Linda Stocker, age 67, of St. Cloud, who passed away on Monday, August 15, 2016 at her home, after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Reverend Thomas Knoblach will officiate. Linda requested that we not mourn her, but that we remember her for the fun, loving, and caring person she was. A celebration of her life will take place on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at her home, starting at 1:00 p.m.

Family and friends may call from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at the Daniel Funeral Home, St. Cloud.

Linda was born on June 25, 1949 in St. Cloud to Willis “Bill” and Lois (Unise) Zinken. She married her first husband, Gary Stuart, on April 23, 1971. Together they had two children, Greg and Gina, and two wonderful grandchildren, Kassidy and Kody.  Linda later married her second husband, Mike Stocker on August 16, 1997.

Linda was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and her many friends. She enjoyed playing darts, washers, bags, fishing, camping and going on motorcycle trips. Linda was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan, never missing a game. Linda lived every day to it’s fullest. She is loved dearly and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her husband, Michael, of St. Cloud; children, Greg, of Orrock, MN and Gina, of Clear Lake; grandchildren, Kassidy and Kody; other relatives and friends.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Dylan; brother, Terry; and sister, Cathy.
