Lehanna A. "Lee" Obermiller

January 17, 1927 – February 8, 2015

Mass of Christian Burial celebrating the life of Lehanna A. “Lee” Obermiller, 88, of Sartell will be at 11:30 AM on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sartell. Lee passed away on February 8, 2015 at Country Manor Care Center. The Reverend Robert Harren will officiate. Entombment will be at Assumption Cemetery Mausoleum, St. Cloud.
Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 PM on Wednesday at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud, and one hour prior to the service at the church in Sartell. Parish Prayers will be at 4:30 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home in St. Cloud.
Lehanna was born on January 17, 1927, in Palmer, Iowa, to Herman and Hermina (Okkinga) Behrens. She married Harvey P. Obermiller on November 6, 1948 at Holy Angels Catholic Church in St. Cloud. Lehanna was a Registered Nurse and worked for the St. Cloud Hospital, Sterling Park Nursing Home in Waite Park, and Good Shepherd in Sauk Rapids. Lehanna will be remembered as a compassionate caregiver of the elderly. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Parish, and the St. Francis Xavier Christian Women.
Lehanna is survived by her children; Lee (Karen) of Royalton, Sandra Obermiller (Vic Marotta) of St. Louis Park, John (Melissa) of Pillager, Nancy (Rick) Ihli of Rogers, Julie Obermiller of Eagan; grandchildren, Abraham, Nathaniel and Christopher Obermiller, Amanda Peterson, Andrea and Adam Obermiller, Alyssa and Abby Ihli, and Hannah Obermiller Nesser; great grandchildren, Alec, Ashton, Collin, and Calvin; brothers Al and Rudy Behrens.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and sister Herma Wiggins.
