Captain Deters loved his officers like family. Always calm under pressure and never raising his voice, he was a great leader and inspirations to those of us who served under him.

Ken was a wonderful man, we have great memories of camping with him and his family when we were all young, we spent many, many weekends up north and it was always great fun. Ken graduated from HS with Ron, and I graduated HS with Jean…lots of love to all the family from us in Oregon

I first met Kenny when I was a senior in high school. Also remember kenny on the daywear graduated from high school. from Cathedral in 62. What a kid and beautiful person he was and I take it from his obit he continued to be the same.Go bless him and his family in this sad time.

Kenny was a good man who cared deeply for his family. He cared about the well being of his employees and as a captain in police department cared deeply for the citizens he served. His even tempermant was one of his greatest leadership attributes. God bless his family in their time of need
