Kathleen R. (Hansen) Riley

Memorial services celebrating the life of Kathleen R. (Hansen) Riley, 78, of St. Cloud will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, September 16, 2016 at the Daniel Funeral Home Chapel in St. Cloud. Kathleen passed away at home on Saturday, September 10, 2016. Reverend Gregory Lieser will officiate. Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.

Kathleen was born on October 14, 1937 in St. Cloud to Cyril and Vivian (Gregory) Riley. She graduated from Technical High School and was employed for twenty plus years as a Nursing Assistant. Kathleen was a loving and devoted mother, friend and referee.

Kathleen enjoyed the outdoors, walking, cheering for the Vikings and above all spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her children, Daniel (Donna) Hansen Jr. of Boca Raton, Florida, Kim (Dean) Froemming of St. Cloud; Kelly (Steve) Vorpahl of Sartell; Dean Hansen of Napolean, Missouri, Patrick Hansen of Livingston, Montana, Sally Hansen (Ted Lewandowski) of Royalton; grandchildren; Josh Vorpahl, Jason Thelen, Stephanie Vorpahl-Wellen, Joe Froemming, Jeremiah Hansen; great grandchildren, Jalen Vorpahl, Colton Vorpahl, Gibson Wellen; brother, Gary “Butch” (Shari) Riley of Moor Park, California; and sister–in-law, Clara Riley of St. Cloud; and her beloved grandpuppy, Mazie.

She was preceded in death by her parents; infant son, John; and brothers, Darrell and Donald Riley.
