Judy E. Schwegel

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 16, 2018 at Resurrection Lutheran Church, St. Joseph for Judy E. Schwegel, age 73 of St. Joseph who passed away on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at the St. Cloud Hospital. Pastor Jennifer Thul will officiate.

Visitation will be after 10:00 a.m. on Monday at the church in St. Joseph. Arrangements were made by the Daniel Funeral Home, St. Joseph.

Judy was born December 16, 1944 in Bertha, Minnesota to Wallace and Helen (Nelson) Peterson.  She married Gerald J. “Jerry” Schwegel on October 12, 1963. Judy was employed as a sales associate by JC Penny’s for over 25 years retiring in 2002. She was a member of Resurrection Lutheran Church. Judy enjoyed trips to the casino, flower gardening and painting ceramics. She loved her church and especially her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Judy is survived by her children, Keith, Shelly and Brian; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; sisters, Bobbie Ringler, Gail Beckner and Carolyn Bixby.

Judy was preceded in death by her husband on May 2, 2016; parents; and brother, Art.
