My sympathy to your family. Always enjoyed conversing with John even though I was “much” younger than he. Sympathy and prayers coming to you. Judy Bushman Roberson

My heart goes out to all of the Massmann family. You all are in my prayers that God comforts you at this time.

John Massmann Family.
Our sympathy goes out to all of you.
I remember the summer many many
years ago that John helped my dad bale hay on the fam in Iowa. Once again heartfelt sympathy.

Uncle John… I will miss your laugh and seeing that amazing, big smile! I enjoyed so many card nights and celebrating our b-days (and Erins) together in Colorado, even the sombrero! I am so very sorry for your (his sons and grandchildren and sisters and brothers) loss. He will be gravely missed.

Our sincere sympathy to John’s family, especially our son in law, Johan and daughter, Sara and their children, Anton and Margo. John was a classic, proud American who cared not only for our rights and freedoms but for those in our society who were lost in the shuffle of inadequate housing and
wages. We will miss his historical insights and compassionate voice. Thanks be to God in Christ for the gift of resurrection and eternal rest beyond the grave!
