Jacquelyn L. "Jackie" Tomczik

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at St. John Cantius Catholic Church in St. Cloud for Jacquelyn L. “Jackie” Tomczik, age 84, of St. Cloud, who passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at the Country Manor in Sartell. Reverend Thomas Knoblach will officiate. Burial will take place in Assumption Cemetery in St. Cloud.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday and after 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday all at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud. Parish prayers will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home in St. Cloud.

Jackie was born on July 14, 1930 in St. Cloud to Arthur and Ann (Hackman) Wampach. She graduated from Cathedral High School before attending the St. Cloud School of Nursing. Jackie married Roger Tomczik on June 18, 1966 at St. Mary’s Cathedral in St. Cloud. She worked for many years as a nurse at the St. Cloud Hospital. Jackie was a long-time member of St. John Cantius Catholic Church and Rosary Solidarity and the St. Cloud Hospital Nurses Alumni.

She enjoyed reading, old time movies and dining out with family and friends. Jackie treasured all the time spent with her family, especially the grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughters, LeeAnn (Robert) Nelson of Sauk Rapids and Pamela (Chad) Stang of St. Joseph; grandchildren, Taylor, Erin, A.J. and Zach; sisters and brother, Shirley Wampach, Lloyd “Bud” (Sally) Wampach, Gwen Przybilla, and Bev (Sam) Hennen; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Roger in 1995.
