I’m so sorry for your loss. I met Gordy when he came to my Dad’s funeral. He shared so many stories about my Dad as a kid. I wish I had known him longer. My prayers are with all of you as you find your way without him.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, December 9, 2016 at the Clearwater United Methodist Church in Clearwater, MN for Gordon Henry Beilke age 84 of Clearwater who died on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at the St. Cloud Hospital. The Reverend Ken Felska will officiate. Burial will be in the Acacia Cemetery, Clearwater, MN. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday at the Daniel Funeral Home in Clearwater, and one hour prior to the funeral on Friday at the Church. A prayer service will be held at 6:30 P.M. at the Daniel Funeral Home on Thursday evening.
Gordon was born on July 21, 1932 in Hutchinson, MN the son of Henry and Anna (Albrecht) Beilke. He attended country school and later school in Hutchinson. He was inducted into the U.S. Army on November 25, 1952. He served his country overseas in Korea attaining the rank of Sargent, and was honorably discharged on October 25, 1954. After returning from active duty in the service he returned to the family farm and eventually drove truck over the road.
After getting his boiler licenses in the early 1970’s, Gordon then went to work as a boiler operator for Marshall Rendering in both Marshall, MN and later in St. Cloud. He moved on to work as a boiler operator at T.O. Plastics in Clearwater retiring after 35 years of service.
He was a member of the Clearwater United Methodist Church where he was a lay person helping serve communion for over 30 years, and was a 40 plus year member of AA.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three infant sisters, one infant son in 1971, and one step son Terry.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years Dolly (Ellen) of Clearwater, MN, two sons, Carter and Junior, one daughter Naomi (Keith) Goff of Norfolk, VA, three step daughters, Brenda (Barry) Schuldt of Clear Lake, MN, Robyn Gehrke of Monticello, MN, and Sheryl (Donald) Boeson of Howard Lake, MN, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren, one brother Orville (Jeanette) Beilke of Hutchinson, MN, other relatives and many friends
