Dolores F. "Dee" Henning

September 9, 1932 – June 6, 2015

Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, June 12, 2015 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in St. Cloud, MN for Dolores Frances Henning, age 82 of St. Cloud, who died on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at St. Benedict Senior Community surrounded by her family. The Reverend Gregory Lieser and Rev. Ben Kociemba will be the con-celebrants. Entombment will be in Assumption Cemetery Mausoleum in St. Cloud. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Friday, at the St. Peter’s Catholic Church in St. Cloud. Services are with Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud.

 

Dolores was born on September 9, 1932, the daughter of Clemens and Rose (Tarnowski) Kammemeier. She was a homemaker raising their seven children. Dolores worked at her husband’s Real Estate office from 1989 to 1995. Before her illness she helped deliver Meals on Wheels for six years. She looked forward to the monthly breakfast meetings with her long-time friends and the monthly lunch gatherings with her high school classmates.

Dolores is survived by her seven children; Sheila (Charles) Kloss of Elk River and their children, Kelly (Wil) Kratz, Katie (Bryan Pederson) and Kasey (Jason) Purdue; Sandra (Dennis) Trettel of Rochester; Tom (Karen) of St. Cloud and their children, David, Mikael (Jessica) and Joseph (Kelsey); Tim (Anthony Whelihan) of Plymouth; Sheryl (Brian) Flanagan of Eden Prairie; Todd (Melissa) of St. Cloud and their children, Bradley Schepper (Emily), and Rachel (Kyle); Michael (Debbie Soular) of St. Cloud and their children, Michael (Kristie), and Bailey; 4 great grandchildren and one expected in September. Sisters, Connie (Mike) Vallderperes of Cincinnati, Ohio, Pauline (James) Hall of St. Cloud, Carol (Lloyd) Herman of Arizona, Linda Wolfe of St. Cloud; Brothers, Robert (Cleo) Kammier of St. Paul, Ronald (Nancy Kammemeier of Anoka. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Dolores was preceded in death by her parents and beloved husband Val. A. Henning on November 1, 2003 after 52 years of marriage.

The Family would like to thank the Eucharistic Ministers who brought her communion each Sunday and Holy Days. Also so thankful to Dr. Mark Hauge and all other nurses and care givers at Coborn Cancer Center for their wonderful care for the past five years and the recent care provided to her at St. Benedict’s Hospice.
