David was born on April 24, 1952 in St. Cloud to Harold “Hobie” and Carol (Carlson) Schleicher.
Dave was known by everyone as a loving and kind hearted son, brother, husband, father, grandpa and friend to many. His healing hands have touched so many lives throughout his career as a chiropractor. He loved many outdoor activities, including birdwatching, golfing, gardening, and especially boating and fishing. Dave loved cooking for his family and friends; he was at his finest in front of the stove or grill. Music was always a love of his, which flooded into everyone’s hearts at every gathering and bonfire. Please remember Dave in all of your hearts along with that special song that reminds you of him.
Dave is survived by: his wife of 42 years, Jan of Cold Spring; daughters Amy (Eric) Eickhoff of Albany, Becca (Brian) Sauerer of St. Joseph; grandson Gavin Sauerer; parents Hobie and Carol; brothers and sisters, Juli (Norman) Katzner, Mary (Arnie) Hasch, Wayne (Laure) Schleicher, Robie (Roxy) Schleicher, Gary (Amy) Schleicher; many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.

RIP, my friend, dear Dr. Dave, you were the best! So sorry for your loss, Jan & family; our prayers are with you.

Many fond memories of Dave playing sandlot baseball. I used to call him Slip because of the way he could get past you in a squeeze play. A lot of years we played in that field together until we got about twelve years old and just to good for that small field. Sometimes I wished that me and my friends never would have grown up. R I P my friend and condolences to his family.

I’m so sorry to hear about David I so remember when they moved to Colorado and Gary and I took the U-Haul out there and then they took us to Bonnie Raitt concert at Red Rocks good time He will be missed by lots of people. You guys are in my thoughts and prayers at a time like this
