Cody was born on January 19, 2010 in St. Cloud, Minnesota to Ryan Nuckolls and Lorraine Hipp. He was at home with mom and was looking forward to attending Kindergarten at Kennedy Elementary in the fall. Cody was a very fun loving boy who was always laughing and smiling. He was rambunctious and loved to pester and play games with his sister! He will be remembered for his “Cody Hug.”
Cody was a busy little boy who was proud that he just learned how to ride bike without training wheels. He also wanted to fly like Spiderman! He loved life and lived his short life to the fullest enjoying Frisbee golf, playing X-box 360 with Dad, cleaning with Mom and spending every Friday with Grandpa and Grandma Axel. Cody idolized his dad and wanted to be just like him; working at Casey’s making donuts and pizza. Cody is dearly missed and will never be forgotten. We love you our Guardian Angel!
Cody is survived by his parents and sister, Hanna of St. Joseph; grandparents, Irene and Greg Axel ; William “Randy” Nuckolls, Karen Beckman and many adopted grandparents; great grandparents, Eugene Stein and Nada Browning Nuckolls; aunt and uncles, Ashley, James and Reed Hipp; great uncle, David “Pete” Hipp; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, James Curtis Hipp; and great grandparents, Nyla and Edward Hipp, Lorraine Stein and William Ralph “Papaw” Nuckolls.
Memorials are preferred.
Cody’s family would like to thank the area communities for their show of love and support; especially to Tanya Finken and Traci Smith and their families both of St. Joseph.

So sorry for your loss can’t believe he’s actually gone but he will never be forgotten

So sorry to read of the tragic accident and loss of your precious little son.
Death is an enemy to all of us. God refers to death as the ‘enemy that will soon be brought to nothing,’ [1Corinthians 15:26.] Please be encouraged by these words from the Bible, because the Bible gives us the wonderful resurrection hope. [John 5:28,29.]
Our creator, Jehovah God , promises to remove from the earth all bad things and the ‘righteous will live on the here forever’,[ Psalms 37:9,10,11,28 and 29].
” God will wipe all the tears from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry, nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”[Revelation 21:4,5.]

I was so sad to hear of Your great loss. I wish I could take away just a portion of the tremendous loss you are feeling right now. I have no clue how You are feeling right now as I have never had anything like this happen in my life, I can only imagine. I do know for sure that we are a lot stronger than we think we are. No bond is as great as that between a parent and child. My deepest condolences are with you as you grieve. May the Love of friends and family carry Your family through your grief. God Bless!

Fernando and I are deeply grieved by the loss of Cody. And we send our love to all of you as well as our prayers.
