Charlotte F. Alexander-Court

November 29, 1929 – February 6, 2015

A celebration of life will be at a later date for Charlotte Frances Alexander-Court who died on Friday, February 6, 2015 at Sterling Park Health Care in Waite Park, MN.

Charlotte was born on November 29, 1929 in Sauk Centre, MN the daughter of Frank and Esther (Green) Thiers. She grew up in the Sauk Centre area and graduated from Swanville High School in 1948. She then went on to nursing school at the “John Peter Smith School of Nursing” in Fort Worth, TX, graduating as a Registered Nurse in 1956.

She was united in marriage to William L. Alexander on June 28, 1958 in Fort Worth, TX. The couple lived in various places and eventually settled in Dawson, NE in 1994. William passed away in 1998.

Charlotte continued to live in Dawson, NE until 2002, when she retired from nursing and moved to St. Cloud, MN. She married Alvin Court on June 3, 2006 at St. Mary’s Cathedral Catholic Church, in St. Cloud. They resided in St. Cloud after marriage. She loved sewing, going to the casino and being with family. She was a member of St. Mary’s Cathedral Catholic Church.

In addition to her parents and first husband William, she was preceded in death by four sisters; Beverly, Philemene, Yvone, and Jeanette; one brother Kevin, and one step-grandson Shane Erickson.

She is survived by; her husband, Alvin of St. Cloud, MN; three children, Claudette (Randy) Herron of Moody, TX, Danny (Karla) Alexander of Abilene, TX, and Lourie (Les) Stonebarger of Auburn, NE; three step children, Charlie (Diane) Macken and David Conway, both of Minneapolis, MN, and Charlotte (Dave) Newberg of Somerset, WI; four grandchildren, eleven step-grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren, and seven step-great grandchildren.
