Bernetta "Betty" Luckeroth

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. on Monday, December 5, 2016 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in St. Cloud for Bernetta “Betty” Luckeroth, age 90, of St. Cloud. Betty passed away November 29 at the Country Manor in Sartell. Reverend Gregory Lieser will officiate. Burial will take place in Assumption Cemetery in St. Cloud. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church on Monday.

Betty was born July 29, 1926 in St. Martin, MN to George and Catherine (Niehaus) Kolb. She graduated from St. Cloud Tech High School and later from St. Cloud Business College. She married Lavern “Lucky” Luckeroth on June 28, 1949 at St. Mary’s Cathedral in St. Cloud. She retired from CentraCare River Campus after 30 years as a Medical Transcriptionist. She was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church.

She loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren more than life itself.

Betty is survived by her children: Nancy (Ray) Halupczok of St. Cloud and Carol Johnson of Longville, her grandchildren: Katie (Ryan) Neuman of Sartell, Scott (Tessa) Halupczok of Savage, Chrissy (Billy) Nihart of Federal Dam, and Nick (Jess) Johnson of Emily, great grandchildren: Tanner, Kylee and Colton Neuman, Emma and Landon Halupczok, Ryley, Carsyn, Fynley Nihart, Aria, Terah and Maverick Johnson; her brother-in-laws Fred Luckeroth and Al Mayavski, and sister-in-law Evelyn Luckeroth. and many nieces and nephews.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents, husband, infant son Michael, brother Vernon and son-in-law Mark Johnson.

Betty’s family would like to thank the staff at Country Manor and the St. Croix Hospice for the excellent care she received.
