Alice M. Haines

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM on Monday, November 9, at St. Louis Catholic Church in Paynesville for Alice M. Haines, 87, of Paynesville, who died November 4, 2015. Burial will be in the Paynesville Cemetery. The Reverend Glenn Krystosek will officiate.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at St. Louis Catholic Church. Arrangements are with the Daniel – Anderson Funeral Home, Paynesville.
Alice was born on November 23, 1927, in Eden Valley, to Chris and Marie (Fischbach) Neu. She married Robert Haines on October 7, 1946. Alice worked at the Paynesville Hospital in the office for several years. She was an avid golfer at the Paynesville Golf Course, where she was club champion seven years. Alice hunted in North Dakota for many years with Robert A. Haines, Mack Haines, Dick Haines, Rick Haines, Lou Borman, Willard Schultz, and in later years they were joined by Robert Jr. and his son Tim Haines.
Surviving Alice are step-son Robert Haines Jr. (Dee); grandson Tim Haines (Tracy); 4 great grandchildren; sisters Arvilla Bennett, Shirley Leyendecker; and brothers Herbert, David, and Melvin.
She was preceded in death by her husband; brothers Sylvester, Wilfred, Merlin; sisters Angie Lindquist, Delrose Casper; and baby sister Ermaline.
