Albert B. Schroden

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday, July 8th at 12:00 Noon at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in St. Cloud for Albert B. Schroden, age 88, of St. Cloud, who died on Sunday at Cherrywood Advanced Living in St. Cloud. Rev. Gerald Dalseth will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday (TODAY) between 4:30-8:00 PM at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud and on Wednesday one hour prior to services at the Church. Parish Prayers will be at 5:00 PM.
Albert was born July 11, 1926 in St. Cloud to John and Amelia (Braun) Schroden. He married Catherine Meyer on August 17th, 1949 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in St. Joseph. Albert farmed in St. Cloud Township for many years, and also was employed at Franklin Manufacturing working in quality control. He was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus Council # 5548, Catholic Order of Foresters and International Machinist’s Union # 623.
Survivors include his children, Jerry Schroden (Char) St. Joseph, Ralph Schroden (Mary) St. Joseph, Thomas Schroden (Renee) Adrian, Mary Blonigen (Roman) Sauk Rapids, Julie Watkins (Albert) St. Joseph, Allan Schroden (Pamela) Fergus Falls, and Mark Schroden (Tammy) St. Joseph, grandchildren, Randy, Rick, Peter, Bob, Francis, and Rebecca Schroden, Daniel, Gregory, Emily, and Hannah Blonigen, Shawn and Ashley Watkins, Christi Krippner, Natasha Hadland and Kim Lutz, great-grandchildren, Michael, Sarah, Max, Alana, Sam, Bob Jr, and Reece Schroden, Chloe and Kyla Blonigen, Alaric Hadland, Kaylee and Logan Lutz, and Gavin Krippner, sister Martha Kirchner, Sauk Rapids.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Catherine, July 26th, 2010, 6 sisters and 2 brothers and great-granddaughter April Schroden.
